About Me

As a mom of two boys, I've always believed that it's important to be involved in your community and if you're not happy with your elected officials, then it's your duty to be the change you want to see.

My family and I moved to Cheyenne in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the area. The people of Wyoming and Laramie County are some of the best people I've ever met. People of Wyoming have true grit, a giving spirit and love for our country that I haven't seen anywhere else I've lived.

I was a stay-at-home mom for many years while my husband worked in the oil fields and we lived in many places. Today, since planting our family roots in Cheyenne, I enjoy serving our community as a realtor and in many volunteer opportunities.

I have served as a board of directors for the Cheyenne Board of Realtors, served as secretary on the board for Zonta club of Cheyenne and I was also the Chapter Chair for Laramie County Moms for Liberty and I have welcomed new businesses to Cheyenne while serving on the Red Carpet Committee for the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce. In 2022 I was a state delegate at the Wyoming GOP State Convention, and I am currently a precinct committeewoman for the LCGOP precinct 3-5.

I am concerned about our rapid growth in Laramie County. I know we can't stay the same forever, but I want our county to grow responsibly, and make sure we aren't running ourselves dry, so to speak. That means making sure we have adequate water supply. My understanding is that a water study has not been done since 2014. This is definitely something that should be looked into. I would also like to see the budget reduced in a way that we are being good stewards to our citizens and not taxing them to death.

It will be my mission to listen to the people. I feel like we have a lack of transparent and accountable leadership with the Laramie County Commissioners. The public does not feel heard in the decision-making process, I truly believe that we need to be as transparent as possible, even if we don't like what we hear. I would like to see the Commissioner meetings change to an evening time, say 6pm. That way our community can attend those meetings without having to take time off from work. I would also like to hold townhalls and get feedback from the people in a more relaxed setting.

I believe the commissioners should have a better presence on social media, radio and even TV to ensure our constituents know what issues we are discussing, what ideas are shared and what concerns are talked about.

Elected officials should always have a goal of transparency. After all, they work for the people! I hope I can serve the community of Laramie County as their next County Commissioner and demonstrate that elected officials can be just like the rest of the community and work together to solve problems and come up with solutions.
